Good staff, helpful and friendly. The house is charming and historical, location just 5 min walk from the main street. with many food options. Breakfast room and food really lovely. Parking nearby, otherwise the host will help you.
Since our room was in front of the street and the entrance of another hotel, it was quite noisy at night

Joao our host went over the top to make us feel welcome there..he spent time with us providing information about restaurants nearby.. they were awesome...and reasonable too. Whenever we met he asked if all was well and if we needed anything. The facilities were super...immaculate modern bathroom in an ancient house full of antiques.

Casa do Fontanário de Óbidos is a little treasure. This is a very special and unique accommodation right outside the walls of the old town of Óbidos which makes it an ideal location for visiting the gorgeous old town. Stepping into this guesthouse is like taking a step back in time. The house is full of character and charm and oldie world style. Casa do Fontanário de Óbidos is run by Joáo, an extremely friendly and welcoming guy. He couldn't do enough for us. He was amazing. He helped us to park our car on the tiny hilly street, he recommended nice restaurants, provided us with water and gave us advice for our onward journey. Breakfast was plentiful and was served by a lovely lady. I recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to visit Óbidos and experience something special at a very reasonable price.
We have no complaints at all.

João is the most nice and friendly person we met in Portugal. he did everything he can to make our stay perfect, he explained us about the place history and about the local drink in obidos. Room was clean the breakfast was good and the location was prefect. We enjoyed our stay there very much

The Casa do Fontanário de Óbidos is a traditional-style house located in the centre of the scenic medieval town of Óbidos.
