The staff was super friendly and helpful. Went out of their way to help us with anything we needed. Breakfast was great. Loved every bit of our stay here while we were in Oaxaca.
Breakfast was fantastic. The Boca del Monte locale was wonderful for me, as it was a bit more off the main path by comparison to Libres. The staff also dealt with a minor issue that I had promptly. I could not have asked for a better resolution.
I had to move from the Libres to the Boca del Monte property as street noise at night was an issue for me at Libres. I will say this to clarify; I am a farmer in the North East US, so I am used to near silence at night. Those who live more rural or suburban would definitely not have an issue.
Everything about our stay was perfect. Quick communication from the owners when our flight was delayed, great location, delicious breakfasts. The property is full of character and the courtyard layout makes it feel really welcoming. We had a room on the top floor that opened onto the communal terrace which made it extra special.
Beautifully decorated rooms with sumptuous breakfast and the friendliest staff.
Noise carries easily in these rooms, from roof terrace down into our room or from outside in. There were an excessive number of tip jars in the room, including one to tip the reception (it felt a bit pushy).
The staff was wonderful they were super helpful and kind. And the breakfast was delicious.
I booked here thinking I was treating myself, since it was more expensive than the place I was staying and it had great reviews. However, the place could use some loving kindness and updates by the owner. It was way over priced for what you get and there are plenty of places in Oaxaca that are nicer and cheaper.
