Room and view good. Location good, parking not easy. Breakfast OK.
Dinner very disappointing for this type of Hotel. More "chips & peas" with everything than good dining and we had to dine in the bar not in what had been shown as a lovely restaurant on the website, and the bar area was very cramped and dismal. Food no better than in a pub. Expensive for what we had.
Beautiful views over Tolcarne Beach. Great room, lovely staff and tasty breakfast!
Nothing springs to mind!
The staff were amazing, so friendly and very helpful. I couldn’t fault them! All of them were so nice!
Downstairs was lovely, some of the rooms were dated.
Great breakfast and pool.
Restaurant not open apart from breakfast. Had to sign in to WiFi every few hours.
The staff who were very pleasant and friendly and gave us excellent service. The room was very comfortable and clean with good facilities.
Because we booked through booking.com we had to pay for the ‘free’ parking £5 per day. Something to remember in future!
The Best Western Hotel Bristol is a charming cliff top hotel in Newquay, overlooking the golden sands of Tolcarne beach. This delightful family-run retreat really has it all - good food, superb sea views and excellent service. What's more, it provides a great tour base for both Newquay and Cornwall, and plenty of breath-taking scenic spots and attractions. Newquay is also rather food famous – so make sure you leave with a belly full of fresh seafood, scrumptious scones and fudge. As one of the UK’s favorite seaside towns, Newquay is ideal for a family break or romantic getaway, offering seven miles of sandy coast and quaint, peaceful charm. You’ll find 11 glorious beaches well within your reach at the Best Western, with impressive waves creating one of the best surfs in Europe. If you feel ready to upgrade the bodyboard, head to one of the many surf schools in the area – we’d recommend The Escape Surf school as its less than a 10 minute drive away. For plenty of evening fun head to the hugely popular Lusty Glaze beach, just a three minute drive from the Best Western. The beach is famous for its summer ‘Sundowner Sessions’ and autumn ‘Woodburner Sessions’, where you can enjoy fantastic live music and food to match, right by the sea. Here at the Best Western Hotel Bristol we understand that your pet is a crucial part of the family, so why should they miss out on the holiday. Your four-legged friend is more than welcome to stay at the hotel for just a small fee, whilst there are plenty of fabulous dog friendly beaches in the area. (Great Western Beach is just a six minute walk away). Since 1927, four generations of the Young family have built up an enviable reputation for service and hospitality at this delightful hotel, so book now to experience for yourself!
