There was only 1 elevator....
Breakfast was good with a nice variety of hot and cold items. Check in was easy and the staff was friendly.
The room was rundown looking. Carpet needs replacing and the room had a slightly musty smelling odor every time we first entered the room. Very small room overall and bathroom. You could barely close the bathroom door without maneuvering yourself around to try and close the door. The ice bucket was shoved in a corner behind the bed as was the very tiny desk. Fine for 1 night just to sleep but too small for a family and the rundown feeling of the room made it seem dirty.
Room was small.
Excellent location! Priced fairly. Staff was friendly and helpful.
I couldn’t believe there was not any storage in the bathroom. There was not even a small shelf in the shower to put your things on. There is an entire wall above the toilet where shelves could be installed or even a small cabinet. Also the only hook in the bathroom was on the back of the door. There were also no other hooks in the room. I can’t complain about the size of the room because that is the way it is in the city. However, I do believe more effort could have been made at this hotel with hooks and shelving- especially in the bathroom.
Great location, just 5 minutes far from Times Square and 1 minute from the nearest subway station. The staff is kind and helpful. There is complimentary coffee, tea and chocolate at all times and breakfast is good.
We paid too much for what we got, the room cost 405 dollars, it was small and it had an unpleasant smell.
The name of the Comfort Inn Times Square really says it all, and this property is just a short walk to such destinations as the famed Restaurant Row of the Hell’s Kitchen district, the Broadway and theater areas, attractions like Madame Tussauds, Times Square, Madison Square Garden, Rockefeller Center, the MoMA, Empire State Building, Grand Central Station and even Central Park are within easy walking distance, too. 50th Street Station is steps away, ensuring easy access to the rest of the city via subway, and the major airports are within six to 13 miles. A simple and uncomplicated place to stay, it offers more than just a great location. A smoke-free property, it also provides leisure or business travelers with use of the full business service center, provides each guest with a free hot breakfast each morning, offers them access to a convenient market in the lobby, and features free Wi-Fi throughout. Public parking is also available on the premises, there is an ATM in the lobby and transportation information is updated on a display in the lobby, too. The large and appealing rooms vary by size, but will all include a refrigerator, hot beverage station, work desk with ergonomic chair, a flat panel TV with cable and on-demand options, phone service, climate controls, and a large and private bathroom stocked with premium linens and signature toiletries. Most rooms have great views, too. Whether it is for a weekend of fun in the Big Apple, a business trip into the city or a holiday that focuses on exploring all that the area has to offer, the Comfort Inn Times Square will make a great choice.
