Amazing location very close to the centre, walking distance from the Red Square. Staff were very nice provided everything we needed
The mattresses need changing they were slightly uncomfortable and needs bigger bed sheets as they didnt cover the whole bed also the shower doors need changing. Also they don't do registration which may be a problem for some
Dirty, old apartment.
Area, not location of the "hotel "
The hotel was a DUMP" Plumbing horrible. All kinds of exposed pipes, loosely fitting sink, shower stall and awkward toilet. Refrigerator in room didn't work. TV too small for room and only 1 station. An insult to any.
There is no sign for hotel at the building. It seems a regular apartment. I called hotel reception and she can’t talked english. So i have to ask everyone in the street to find the hotel. Place was also dirty and old.
Only the location
This place is so disgusting that I even don't know where to start from. It is impossible to find it if you don't speak Russian.Athough it is on the main street the actual entrance is in hidden back yard. This is not a hotel at all. No signs or any marks to be easy to find it. The only way to get there is to phone the place but no chance for much help if you don't speak Russian. Once there get ready for a shock. I really mean shock not just surprise. The "reception " of this place is located on 3 floor. Get ready to climb the stairs with all your luggage. No lift. The door of the flat will be open and more than likely you will see a big lady cooking on the stove which is right to the door. This is the hallway. Around it there are few doors one of which eventually will be your room. If the lady in the hallway is not cooking she will be resting on the sofa at the far end surrounded by the piles of laundry. Infront of her sofa is her desk. On the desk is her laptop, a lot of sheets of paper and among this mass she is either pilling off potatos or making a meat balls. I am not exaggerating. This lady is the receptionist. You are welcome. This is what you are paying for but this is only the beginning. Forgot to mention the smell in the place and the little dog which lives there and is fed with raw eggs. No one is bothering to give a water to this poor saul. I was doing it myself during my stay as I could stand this cruelty. The brave one can continue reading. For the rest I am suggesting to leave the page with this offer strighaway. I booked this place in May and visited in August to find out that my booking is not in their books although I had booking. Com confirmation which I showed them. I was told the money can't be refunded and the room I can occupy is with share bathroom although I paid for en suite. The price couldn't be reduced either according them.
