Good breakfast area with reasonable selection of continental options. Good coffee service in the lobby.
As this is right across from the airport, the hotel also rents parking spaces for air travelers. There were not enough spaces reserved for the hotel guests and parking was a nightmare that caused frustration with guests and staff alike.
I was traveling with family and friends for a vacation. We reserved this hotel because it was close to the airport and had a shuttle service to and from. I was wanting a ground floor and connecting room because I was traveling with friends. They told me they didn't have 1st floor accommodations and that I had to ne on the 3rd floor. Also couldn't give me a connecting room. One room was fair while the other room was on the do not rent list, yet they gave it to me anyway. It had no power at first but they fixed it. Then the plumbing in that room didn't work correct. These problems was resolved the next afternoon when they finally relocated us to another room. The IHOP was a disaster from the word go. We stood in line for over 10 min before they sat us. We was brought menus after another 30 min. Finally we recieved our food after another 45 min. Dinner ended up taking two and a half hours and still didn't get everything we ordered.
Low price, ease of parking near front.
Questionable seeming long term visitors, access to building not limited by key reader during 90% of stay. Shower curtain rod not secured, towel rack shifted without spackling over old mount. Severely limited outlets for charging electronics.
Please don't stay here I got bug bites
It was the most awful is experience ever. My boyfriend and I both got bug bites all over their bodies. The shuttle driver try to sell as drugs. Another shuttle driver was completely rude to us. For really no reason the hotel offers it for free to take us back and forth from the Airport. We stayed for horrible 4 days. The only thing I can say I like was a baby that I had air conditioning but even that was way too loud and kept me up all night
Great stay. Quiet. Close to airport.
Wasn’t quite as clean as I’d expected. I think they can do better with existing staff.
This Place is Filthy and disgusting, there is nothing good about it.
They need to Demolish that Rat hole
It is a great location. It was right across the highway from the airport. They even offer shuttle service from the hotel to the airport. If you spend your departure night at the hotel they offer long term parking for seven dollars per night.
Clean non smoking room
Room could be updated. In room coffee needs replacement
Needs some updates
You can't beat the convenience to the airport.
This was definitely shabbier than any Days Inn I've stayed at before. It could have been clean, but everything felt dingy so it didn't feel very comfortable.
Great for a quick stay
Directly across the airport
No slip guards on stairs for New Orleans rain that could potentially be a sip hazard
was stuck in a smoking room. staff did all they could to make me comfortable, but the smell combined with lots of noise (sirens, boat horns, etc.) made sleeping very difficult. Would probably just sleep in the airport instead next time.
Location, the ease of getting to the major highway
The location was perfect, right across the street from the airport. The staff was very nice, and most helpful!
The hotel management is A - 1
The rooms (138) on the backside of the hotel are very humid .
handy forairport and inexpensive
dirty around the alleyways and steps
The room was clean and big. The folks at the front desk answered all of my questions politely and professionally. Even the Denny's next door surprised me with a dinner menu for seniors, a helpful wait staff and affordable prices.
Location to the airport was great, and shuttle service (24 hours) was excellent. Held on to our luggage until room was ready.
Was not very clean.
It was very convenient to the airport. The staff was very nice and helpful. The shuttle was punctual and the driver polite.
Noisy at night, being near the main road to the airport. There was noise into the early morning hours.
