When the other guests park there car or pickup truck they back towards the window and the ac when get up in the morning it was cold like 38 degrees and the warm up there cars the fumes from the tail pipe almost let me choke it was so much fumes in the room and then trying to use the room phone to call front desk phone did not work so sad
Well it was right down the street from my son's home. Also the cost of the room was not to bad
First of all when we got to the room it wasn't the cleanest. The first night when I took a shower two dirty hand towels with hair on them fell out of the shower curtain . The next morning I went down to get some breakfast and had to wait to just even get a cup of tea. Everyone was crowding the counter where all the food was and being very rude and not letting everyone get to anything. I waited forever to try and make a waffle and everyone keep coming in and taking the machine over. I waited for along time and never got to make on because it was after 9 by that time. Then I go back to the room and around 11 or so the people next to us started yelling and screaming. Then someone came to tell them to get out and it would be $10.00 more and so on. After that we went out for the day and got back late so we went to warm up a bite to eat and there was an old biscuit with some kind of meat in the microwave at that point I went down to complain the night staff said that the manager would be there in the morning., that he could not do anything for us. So the next morning when we went to check out we told the guy at the desk about our problems and he too said that their was nothing he could do for us and that the owner would not be in until the next day! So felt like no one cared about our stay and kept just blowing us off!!!!!
Well I walked in the room and it had a bad mildew oder. Also went to take a shower in the first room and someone's dirty cloths was hanging on shower. Witch means they never cleaned bathroom.
Then I was moved to another room and it was dirty as well. The bed had stuff like crumbs all over them. There was dust everywhere. The price is what caught my eye and the fact it was by Wyndham made me think it was good. The week before I stayed at hotel Maddison and paid $20 more but have to say it was well worth it
The room was clean and was good for the little time we were there. The hair dryer didn't work at all.
The best thing about it was the location to the University, couldn't really get better than that. They included breakfast which started at 6 am but I had to be gone by then so didn't get to have the breakfast.
The hotel seemed like a rather old place, It appeared to be clean enough, just kind of a dreary/dingy feel to it. Therefore the lower price, though they charge you an extra $50 when you check-in for a "deposit" which I did get back later on my credit card. They also charge you a key deposit if you don't turn in the key, (card). The room itself was okay, again, clean enough, but not pristine. The heat and bathroom worked well, which is a good thing.
