Very friendly and welcoming host, beautiful room and excellent breakfast.
My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Abocurragh Farmhouse. The home was just as lovely as the pictures we saw online, our hostess was so friendly and helpful. Our breakfasts were WONDERFUL! And it was perfect having breakfast while seeing the neighbor's sheep and watching our host's cows go out to pasture down the lane after milking in the morning. It was so peaceful, we would highly recommend staying here!
Bernie is a fantastic host. She took us to our dinner reservations when the taxi couldn't and the breakfast was delicious. A bit outside of Enniskillen but we didn't mind that. Have already recommended to family to stay here!
Nothing. It was fabulous as was Bernie. Only sorry we couldn't stay longer.
This is an incredible place to stay. The standard of this accommodation has surpassed many of the hotels we have ever stayed in. The hostess is an expert, 25 years running it and the beautiful setting, great location as well as fantastic value made it an unforgettable stay - The breakfast was freshly cooked with care and passion, absolutely delicious (make sure to try the porridge!) The room was immaculate with a big comfy bed; the pillows were so so relaxing. We’ll definitely be back.
There is no negative
The property is down a narrow country lane ... I met the cows on their way home .. where will I end up? I needn’t have worried, Bernie was a great hostess, welcoming with a pot of tea and a freshly baked, warm, buttery biscuit. My room was an excellent size with a small sitting area with sofa, tv and tea/coffee tray, complete with a couple of kitkat. The bathroom had a super sized wet room style walk in shower, and opening window ... so I again saw the cows going in for milking each morning! A soft bathrobe was a bonus. The bed was really comfortable ... there was only me ... possibly more comfy than my own at home! Breakfast had several choices of food, plus dining either at the main table with views to the front, or in the conservatory overlooking the beautiful colourful garden. Either way, lovely! This b n b is a bit more expensive than most at £100 a night incl breakfast, but does give back more than most ... it’s more akin to a small private hotel. I would highly recommend it.
