Pros: We have stayed in this hotel a few times and it's one of our favourites. It is getting an upgrade but we were not disturbed by this. We upgraded to one of the the newly refurbished rooms and it was lovely and fresh and clean. And sooooo quiet. My hubby and I were treated very well by all staff from check in to check out. Food was good, entertainment in bar enjoyable and atmosphere very relaxing.

Cons: They wouldn't let you check in a little early. The hallways looked like they had water damage. 1 elevator. The room was stale very plain. We asked for extra towels since there was 3 of us. Still waiting for those towels. Very plain hotel. Lots of kids all over and very noisy.

Cons: Staff in the bar were slow in responding and less than friendly (particularly for Ireland)...disappointing.

Cons: Bar staff were dreadful especially one waitress who clearly does not like her job or dealing with customers and should really consider an alternative career, I witnessed customers express their dissatisfaction at the slow service and it was not even busy at the time. On the other hand the reception staff were very pleasant and I would stay again for the nice room but eat dinner elsewhere
