Great location pretty interior and rooms very clean
The radiators in the rooms had no temperature controls and the room was so hot we had to sleep with the windows open. We had a meal at the hotel which took over an hour to arrive and the food was undercooked. We sent one meal back barely eaten and refused to pay for it. Staff young and inexperienced but friendly
We stayed over one night as were attending a function. The hotel is situated along the side of the river but in November, a little chilly for us to truly appreciate the lovely setting. The hotel has been refurbished recently in keeping with the character of the old building and the staff were friendly and helpful. The whole place was very clean and the food excellent.
The bed was well worn with the mattress dipping in the centre and paper had been torn off the wall in our room
Lovely view of the river and wildlife at breakfast
Very shabby room. Wallpaper hanging off, torn and mouldy in places. Chairs in room very tatty.
Food was very good and the staff very friendly. A pleasant coaching Inn in easy reach of A1
Booked 5 rooms for my family .. Friendly and helpful staff, beautiful views, fabulous breakfast and the rooms were comfortable and clean.. definitely booking again in the spring!
