The hotel had a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The staff was courteous and helpful.
The hotel and appliances were old and the room needed more cleaning.

Nothing !!! The Wyndham Hotel Chain should inspect this Day's Inn hotel in Columbia sc immediately the very bottom of the line. The staff tried but could not even find us a clean room after four tries. We also had trouble with their booking company booking one day before our requested date and then charged us for that day
My wife and I came to Columbia S.C. due to the hurricane Dorian. Arriving we were very upset with being room charged $100.00 for a day we never even wanted from their booking company.

I was able to get a room at such a late date (during strom Dorian). A restful sleep. Breakfast was good. Located in a good place. Friendly staff.
The building is dated. Clean but dated. Needs updating.

It was cheap I guess.
It smelled awful throughout the entire building. The wifi signal didn't reach my room. The outside of the building seriously needs a pressure wash.
