There was a roof.
A blanket large enough to cover a fully-grown human being. A mattress without cigaret burns in it. And pretty much everything could have been better.

The staff was very, very friendly and helpfull. Breakfast was basic but good. The underground is closeby. There is a big parking right across the hotel. This hotel is ideal if you decide to visit Köln by car and are looking for a cheap but decent place to stay.
I have no remarks. The hotel is very basic, so if you are used to a lot of luxury, this is not the place for you, but if you are looking for a cheap, decent place to stay for only a few nights, I'd recommend it.

Welcoming, friendly, helpful owner couple. Basic comfort but most importantly clean modern en suite clean bed linen. Good location for Conference/Exhibiton Centre or City.
