Cons: Nothing
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, quiet, good standard, good value excellent buffet breakfast
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the room we’ve stayed in the hot tub balcony suite 3 times now and would definitely be back again.
Cons: Could of got the dressing gowns and slippers free with the price of the room, you’d expect that you would as it isn’t cheap.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Evening dinner was nice, breakfast was ok but £10 seemed allot for a egg omelette, I only ate half of it as it was a tad on the oily side for me Location was perfect for us
Cons: Extra towels or the lack of them Some of the staff were not that friendly
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff helpful and attentive. Very good standard and range of options. Extremely good attention to cleanliness and hygiene.
Cons: Not entirely hotel's fault, but eating or spending time in bar area impossible as it was crowded, very noisy and bar could not be reached.
7,9 Good
Pros: The location, the beds, the staff, the restaurant food, drink & service.
Cons: I had 2 rooms (one for a guest). The lighting in bedrooms is extremely poor and depressing-bathrooms ok but the self-slamming door is aggressive & noisy. The TV in room 222 didn’t work (reported on checkout) - the TV remote was also damaged. Have stayed there before but not sure we will revisit.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely staff, nice room and good facilities
Cons: Couldn’t get the temperature in the room right but I’m sure if we raised it the staff would have sorted something.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: we stayed for the my Partners 40th Birthday I had got in touch with the hotel prior to us arriving and asked if there was anything they could do to make it special on arrival into the room they had put Champagne and chocolate covered strawberry's in there for a little extra cost my partner loved it and was just what I wanted. We also enjoyed a evening meal with the family which was superb and the service was wonderful.
Cons: On arrival there was only one person behind the desk on the phone no eye contact was made and we had to wait a good 5mins before some one else came out to see us this was on a Saturday and so you would thought there would be more Team on the arrival desk. nothing was really explained we were asked if we would like t o keep the room open so we could order drinks to the room we said yes and then I was asked for my card to pay £223 to do this as a holding charge none of this was explained when asked if thats what we wouldn't like to do. we were given the key to the room but no direction was given as to where to go I had to asked where the room was and then where the lift was we were the only people stood there being served so wasn't busy the other team member was on the phone. I just feel this is the only thing that let the whole experience down. how ever when checking out a different team member explained everything to us as to why the money had gone out my account even though it was a holding charge for the room she was wonderful.

Pros: Good location ; lovely rooms and nice friendly staff
Cons: Nothing
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Room was comfy and also had a fridge in, which was good for keeping drinks cold. Staff on reception were also friendly and polite.
Cons: Only bad thing is my room, must’ve been a function suite and they were still moving things out past midnight and also in the morning could hear noise again from staff talking and moving things about.
7,0 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Lack of hot water
7,0 Good
Pros: There was a good choice for the breakfast. both continental & English restaurant was clean
Cons: The delivery and attention to detail could have been better, I had to return my full English as the egg was snotty, even thought I'd asked for it to be turned and it was crispy round the edges. The actual restaurant was very small and due to this very noisy and the were close together, you couldn't hear yourself think.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Although a little awkward to find it was a lovely hotel and excellent value fir money and the most comfortable bath ever. The staff were faultless. Would certainly use again
Cons: The parking was tricky to find but once you know it was fine
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Reception staff were excellent, very welcoming and friendly and showed us around the hotel. Upon leaving the hotel we gave feedback on the slow breakfast and staff attitudes, again the reception staff, although a different lady from the previous day, was very professional, friendly and approach in dealing with the matter was excellent. I was not looking for a refund but an explanation and solution as we really wanted to come back but felt let down by breakfast, due to the receptionist you have not lost a customer who is keen to now stop at the hotel again.
Cons: Our cooked breakfast was a long wait at least 45 minutes and the food was not very hot. We did advise the member of staff who served our breakfast, as we was just debating whether to leave and give it a miss, who response was that she would take it back if we did not want it. We did give feedback to the hotel reception upon and they refunded us. There was not many people at breakfast, but we found out at reception the hotel was also serving breakfast in another room. A member of staff could do with customer service training. I suppose we could have filled up on cereal and continental breakfast that was available but we paid for the full English.
10,0 Excellent
Cons: Great hotel. Very well managed and very well situated.

Cons: Booked a room, got there and told "no reservation" We had all paperwork reservation-3rd party booking !
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Receptionist was lovely on our arrival, very friendly but professional. Room was great with a nice "suite" feel to it despite being a standard double room. Great location for ourselves. Fantastic food when we felt a little peckish and ordered room service, would definitely recommend the chips and fish finger sandwich. Amazing!
Cons: To be fair not really anything didnt like it was just we had split our trip over two hotels and I preferred the facilities in the other hotel we stayed in the night before. This was a lovely hotel, nice staff and great location as we were heading to the United match.
10,0 Excellent

Cons: Quality of breakfast product (tea, scrambled eggs, was a bit poor)
7,1 Good
Pros: Location, parking, room.staff all excellent! Unfortunately the room had an oversized settee, mirrors badly situated, tv wrongly placed overall room very poorly designed, needs refurbishment, size of room excellent! Bar food I would not give to my dog! Venison pie, or should I say veg pie with a bit of fatty meat thrown in, chips not cooked, overall meal was disgusting! Do the owners not visit the Hotel for quality control?!?! Staff were great however!
Cons: Look above
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Room was great , clean and tidy.
Cons: Breakfast was fine a little to much oil on the fried eggs but that was down to the chef that prepared it ! Also the shower water temp was a little cool . I suspect you have had issues before as there are instructions on the wall regarding its operation. I believe I did operate it correctly but could not get the temperature hot enough for me > Interestingly the hot water in the sink was fine and hot !
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Stay here regularly good place

Pros: Working in the area and booked this hotel as price was great and rated well too. The hotel is lovely and close enough to everything you could want in my opinion. We dined in the bar on the evening and really enjoyed the 3 courses we had they were hot ,tasty and well presented and a good choice. 9,6 Excellent
Pros: Staff were lovely, room was a good size. Recieved a gift bag with on Christmas day which was a nice touch.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Some of fixtures and fittings were falling off in the bathroom otherwise would have been perfect.lovely grounds and building. Decent breakfast.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Pleasant and quiet hotel in nice surroundings. Large family rooms with all amenities. Nice breakfast choice. Great location for us to visit family nearby.
Cons: Had room in West wing accessible from the back of building and entrance door should be key entry only but was open at all times. If you want to stay longer at the bar you need to place a deposit and cannot charge to your room.
7,0 Good
Pros: Clean and tidy
Cons: There was no atmosphere in the bar/ restaurant area. Walked to the pub down the road for some life.
3,8 Mediocre
Pros: The outside of the building looks like it old and the gardens are beautiful but soon as you walk in it’s like the house of hell only 1 good thing is the breakfast chef with his breakfast after the complaints put forward to gm
Cons: The staff are rude and are not very helpful, the cleaners look through your belongings more than they clean the rooms, the food is stale and shouldn’t be served to an animal let alone a human. Three times I was charged £199.50 on booking.com, once again on arrival then a further £200 when checking out. £600 for a 3 night stay! I am still waiting for my money back! This place is just shocking, avoid at all costs. How this place hosts weddings I’ll never know but I guess once you are drunk you don’t remember. Shocking place, needs be shut down or the staff replaced, the general manager got more angry at the fact he couldn’t answer my complaints and wanted me out of the hotel, best you give up the bottle or give up your job because your bringing that hotel down with your lack of self care it’s a shame I can’t put all the horrid pictures of your place on this review !! Black mould all over the bathroom also. Extremely disappointed with this place!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable, friendly staff, excellent food, good value.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location and very lovely building.
Cons: The only negative point would be that there was no mirror in the room that was close to a plug socket which makes getting ready and doing hair a bit of an issue.
5,0 Okay
Pros: The convenience to church for a wedding.
Cons: Standard room was very small. Very little storage space and heating was not very effective (It was very cold and snowing outside)
7,7 Good
Pros: for the price I thought the room and food were very good the bed was very comfortable
Cons: no complaints
6,0 Good
Pros: On arrival there is a lovely gas fire which was welcoming and a big smile from the staff:)Our room was a luxery one which was! I loved the bathx
Cons: the price in the the bar was way too steep £13.00 for a G@T and a lager? crazy! The breakfast had been cooked way in advance and was hard and tasteless shame:(
4,3 Okay
Cons: Unclean room, hairs in bath, broken tap, tv remote didn't work and very bad reception on tv. Cold breakfast in room and out of date products served
6,3 Good
Pros: Room nice and clean and comfortable. Staff very hardworking and polite, they did what they could to make my friends' wedding breakfast and reception go well and look after the guests. Food was very good for the wedding breakfast, evening buffet and breakfast the following morning. Bar prices very reasonable considering the environment etc.
Cons: Minor point, but at a few times, the single bar man on the residential bar could have done with some assistance to reduce queing time - but very minor point.
6,4 Good
Pros: Good size room, relaxed atmosphere & excellent dinner Saturday evening
Cons: Additional lighting in room would have been useful. Unfortunately both our main courses had to be sent back Sunday evening but the matter was dealt with courteously and promptly.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: How friendly the staff were . The accomdation and setting Convenience for visiting family in Dinnington and Sheffield
Cons: no
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous location, fabulously presented
Cons: Saturday night on the first floor was disturbed by wedding party revellers in the garden below. Please consider internal secondary glazing for noise attenuation. We appreciate it must be a listed building. Our second bedroom, Empire Fork, had no mirror at reasonable height to apply make up, consider a mirror stand on the desk. We are optimistic that these can be easily rectified and remember only the fabulous presentation.
6,4 Good
Pros: the bed and the view out the back
Cons: bathroom was in need of an update
6,8 Good
Pros: Very peaceful and relaxing.
Cons: No
Jurys Inn Sheffield - Sheffield - Building

8,7 Excellent (6 218 reviews)

Overview Reviews
With a stay at Jurys Inn Sheffield, you'll be centrally located in Sheffield, just a 5-minute walk from Peace Gardens and 6 minutes by foot from Sheffield Town Hall. Featured amenities include a business center, express check-in, and express check-out.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The location was good for getting in and out of Sheffield city centre. The room and facilities were clean. The staff were friendly. I was comfortable and watered and fed. I did pay extra for a business room on a high floor which made a lot of difference.
Cons: The only issue i had with my visit was that there was not enough staff on reception (only 1), which was on a busy Friday evening. My keycards for the room were not activated, but this will have been down to the lack of staff, the girl on reception at the time was polite and friendly, but somewhat over-worked. An additional person on reception would be a great idea during peak hours of check-in, especially for the size of the building.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were absolutely brilliant - helpful, kind and polite - they really could not have been better. The breakfast was very good and the beds were extremely comfortable. The TV is an excellent size - you can see it clearly and there was also air conditioning, which was effective and quiet.
Cons: Service for dinner was slow, which was a pity as the food was good when it arrived. Some cutlery was not as clean as it could have been. Apparently Jury's Inn policy is to provide large pots of marmalade, jam, Marmite etc and bowls of ketchup and other sauces, which are in the buffet area - you then have to put a bit on the side of your plate - a policy which I do not think is particularly hygienic or cost-effective as so much gets wasted in the transfer from pot to plate to food. I would prefer individual pots, but I appreciate that ecologically, this is not necessarily the best option and I expect this is why they have made the decision.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was good selection and plentiful
Cons: Bar service could have been better
4,2 Okay
Pros: The rooms are tired especially the bathrooms The cleaning was not great found and needs better eye to attention as bedding and towels had stains on them Found that staff are more friendly with each other than compared towards customers
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location minutes from train station, central location and ten mins walk to Bramall Lane we were there for the Sheffield Utd v West Ham game

Pros: The building and the peacocks. Reception staff were friendly.
Cons: Tired decor, poor food offering for guests, dodgy wifi
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely place to stay. Lovely big bed Lovely room
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Set in idyllic rural surroundings in a beautiful 16C house. Ideally placed to enjoy the area. The room was comfortable, well equipped and clean. The staff on the whole were very friendly.
Cons: The wedding group swamped the place a bit as did other large groups. We were in the new annexe which meant we had to go outside to get to the restaurant and bar. However it was quieter there as it is away from the bar and function room where the wedding was being held. Otherwise a very enjoyable stay
6,0 Good
Cons: Cobwebs and dust in the curtain area was not informed until the arrival day, there would be no food to buy apart from event food which we had not gone to the event
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Both the reception staff and waiting staff were very attentive The room and dinner were first rate As it was a birthday treat for my partner I thank you for this A special mention for the young lady with blond hair on reception who was both pleasant and professional and very helpful. We will definitely be paying another visit in the New Year

9,0 Excellent
Pros: On this occasion I had the full English consisting of 1 sausage 2 bacon 1 hash brown Fried egg Brown toast mushrooms beans and half a tomato, first what a plateful but the quality of the bacon and how it was cooked was very very good. The rooms are big enough, clean and warm now with a decent TV as well. Evening meal was also spot on. The staff are a credit to Green King & the Red Lion all work really hard to make your visit a memorable experience.
Cons: The shower water pulses and you feel warm water that goes to a little to hot to cold and back to warm in a couple of seconds.

Cons: Room thermostat wouldn't go below 21....
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Been staying many years and know what I am getting.
Cons: Our beds were not made the first day and we saw a rat running across the grass outside the dining room. We then saw one in the car park. We complained and had a £20 reduction on our final bill.

Pros: Right place close to family
Cons: Nothing
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The room spacious, clean and we even had a special Birthday bun and message waiting for us! The hotel is very modern and decorated beautifully. W
Cons: The bar service was very slow, there were two under age girls behind the bar who couldn't serve so just one bartender on their own, on a Saturday night was a bit disappointing. We felt the bar also was lacking in atmosphere and feels very separate from the rest of the hotel it's a shame it's not as welcoming.

Cons: A comfy bar area
5,0 Okay
Pros: For the price I paid the room was what I would have expected, the stay was perfectly acceptable.
Cons: The room was initially very cold and when I turned the electric radiator on the room temperature increased to nuclear. I then spent the evening trying to get to sleep with the window open and struggling with the noise from the street.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Our 1st room allocated was about a mile from reception & freezing with no heating on. But they immediately moved us to a warm & more centrally located room which was perfect! And the breakfasts are great.
Cons: The 1st room had its bath & shower in the main bedroom. Might suit honeymooners but at 42+ years wed, I'd rather my shower stayed in the bathroom where it belonged. The dinner menu isn't very exciting...but the fish & chips were good! And the waiter from Bolsover was lovely!
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Very welcoming staff, the room was lovely with a huge bath. The staff at breakfast were really friendly and the breakfast itself was great. It’s close to the Peaks and lots of shopping. I would definitely recommend it, although I never made it to the spa... but friends say it’s lovely!
