Hotel Stars Lyon Bron is a budget hotel, conveniently located near Lyon city center and just minutes from the Eurexpo Convention Centre.
Pros: less than normal
Cons: almost everything
Pros: It was close to the Stade de Lyon et supermarché.
Cons: The advertisement of AC and WiFi and there being none of both. The wifi worked for probably an hour straight and that was with a weak connection too. Room was nothing as advertised that I would be receiving. It was incredibly small with only one plug in on the wall. I requested for a fan so I had to decide between a fan or charging my phone. My arrival happened to be the same time as the heat wave. So you can imagine how delighted I was to find out there was no AC. There was one window in the room that had curtain held up by a metal wire which proved to be ineffective for privacy. Due to it sloping down cause the curtain to slide inward. I originally had a stay from the 27th of June to the 9th of July. I checked out with the first three nights if being there. What was really off putting was the massive BED BUGS. I had to wash and clean everything after leaving.
Pros: the beds were comfortable but the bathroom was a little tight. Brakefast was a bland and basic but very cheap.
Pros: Morning staff
Cons: The carpet is disgusting, full of stains, and there were muschrooms growing in the corridor close to my door.
Pros: It was very cheap breakfast was good
Cons: broken furniture, terrible shower plumbed to basin
8,6 Excellent (2 514 reviews)
Located in Saint-Priest (Porte Des Alpes - Mi Plaine - Manissieux), Kyriad Prestige Lyon Est - Saint Priest Eurexpo Hotel and Spa is within a 10-minute drive of Genas Karting and Eurexpo Lyon. Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Planning an event in Saint-Priest? This hotel has facilities measuring 7535 square feet (700 square meters), including conference space. A roundtrip airport shuttle is complimentary (available on request).
Pros: The kindness from the staff. Safe parking. Excellent breakfast.
Pros: Location; high standards; breakfast; staff efficiency
Pros: Location close to the airport. Free parking.
Cons: The restaurant (dinner) in the hotel was not good at all. The breakfast was also very poor - no fried eggs, coffee did not taste good and there was a long queue to get it. The second bed where our kids were sleeping was very hard.
Pros: Breakfast is good, location little far from city center
Cons: Internet is very pathetic
Pros: The room and facilities were excellent.
Cons: The location could be better but for people with a car it’s perfect
With a stay at Adonis Lyon Est Hôtel Artys, you'll be centrally located in Saint-Priest, within a 15-minute drive of Eurexpo Lyon and Groupama Stadium. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, a 24-hour front desk, and an elevator. Planning an event in Saint-Priest? This hotel has facilities measuring 387 square feet (36 square meters), including a meeting room. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The staff was ok, one of the receptionists was smiling and asking how to help even if her english is not very good. Clean bathroom and towels. Free parking in front of hotel. Breakfast was decent with freshly baked croissants.
Cons: The entire hotel, rooms and corridors smell like cigarettes. And not just like old hotels that used to be for smokers in the past, but like really fresh cigarettes, all the time, so I guess people are still somehow smoking inside. Other than that it's a very basic, old hotel looking more like a hostel, but definitely not a 3 stars hotel. As for location, it's in a small village, about 20 min by car to Lyon center. Not sure if public transportation to Lyon is available. I couldn't say what are the normal prices for Lyon and if this is value for money since we were there for Fete des Lumiers and all hotels were extremely expensive.
Pros: Staff were polite. The bathroom was quite big. The bed was comfortable.
Cons: Hotel is in bad need of redecorating, since this probably hasn’t been done since the 1960s. The carpet in the corridor and in the bedroom had stains. It was windy during the night and the shutters were terribly noisy. The three stars shown on the hotel sign outside don’t seem justified by anything apart from the size of the bathroom. The breakfast was minimalist on the verge of being mean. The breakfast room was more akin to a canteen than to a 3 star hotel restaurant. The first morning there were no plates available and we were told that they were all in the dishwasher. Odd that they don’t have enough plates for all the residents to have breakfast.
Pros: Easy to find, good, clean accommodation.
Pros: Great value for a quick overnight stay if you are driving through France. Parking lot is closed and felt very secure. Fuel station literally next door, with great prices, and a small Carrefour express. Good WiFi signal in my room.
Cons: Rooms are basic but sufficient.
With a stay at Hotel Kyriad Lyon Est - Bron Eurexpo Le Cottage in Bron (Porte Des Alpes - Mi Plaine - Manissieux), you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Eurexpo Lyon and Stade Gerland. Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and multilingual staff. Planning an event in Bron? This hotel has facilities measuring 323 square feet (30 square meters), including a conference center. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Our room was very clean and it had everything that we needed. There was a restaurant in the hotel which served delicious food. Public transportation from the hotel to the town’s center was located at 15 minutes’ walk. We will definitely return to this hotel when we visit Lyon.
Pros: Free parking, Value for the money
Cons: bad smell in the hallway
Pros: Very nice place for breakfast, very good breakfast, comfortable beds, large bedroom
Cons: Ugly smell (sewer) in the hallway of the ground floor rooms, I hope it was a momentary problem.
Pros: Not much to add to what has been already said about this hotel. Though, I should accept that I spent just one night in this hotel and I do not bid to be absolutely objective. The most important asset of this hotel, in my opinion, is parking: it is free and absolutely safe.
Cons: Rooms are quite small (it is the fact and it cannot be changed) – in my opinion. They are not for the romantic stay or for the site seeing in Lyon if you decide to stay in this hotel for more than one night. It is quite far from the Lyon centre itself. There is a tram T2 somewhere near to bring you close to the centre of the city, but the closest tram stop in Bron is something like 500 meters walking distance from the hotel. To find the tram stop one may need to have GPS navigator. Though, the staff may be very helpful in finding where and how to go in Lyon. Breakfast is more or less the same as in other hotels of the same type and level in Lyon. Though, the area where it (breakfast) is served is quite odd. Quite worn tables and chairs which look like that somebody got rid of them do not add to the image of this hotel.
Just off the A43 and A46 highways, the hotel is ideally located 5 minutes from Eurexpo Lyon and the St Priest and Chassieu business parks. 10 minutes from both Lyon-St Exupéry airport and Lyon's TGV train stations. Perfect for your family vacations, our h otel offers a restaurant, bar, swimming pool with terraces, garden and fitness room. For your business seminars and conventions, the hotel has 14 meeting rooms for 10 to 330 people. Free secure car park.
Pros: Excellant burgers in restaurant
Cons: Paper cups in room, and not enough tea/coffee
Pros: Nice restaurant. Close to highway to Alps. Good breakfast, friendly staff. Next to large Decathlon, good for last minute purchases.
Cons: Hard to find the hotel because its access it somewhat hidden between several highways.
Pros: Great hotel. The interior lobby was modern, warm and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious with a lot of choice. Would definitely stay here again.
Cons: The room was VERY WARM. It was February and we had to sleep with the window wide open. We turned the heating off and it was still too warm. We were traveling with a group and their room was also warm.
Pros: It was cheap-ish and there was parking on-site for free.
Cons: It was very kid-friendly, but not very adult-friendly. Kids stomping and running up and down stairs and hallways. Felt like entering a playground rather than a hotel. Better soundproofing would help, or a room not on the ground floor or rules about how to behave in common areas. I'm a grumpy reviewer who didn't sleep well. The room itself was pretty spacious but the bed was small. The shower was good! The toilet was separate from the shower room, but no sink/soap in the toilet "closet" was a bit gross, and I'm not even a germaphobe. Weird to have to go to a different room to wash your hands, touching doorknobs in the meantime. Ate dinner at the restaurant and the food was ok. The biggest problem was the wait. When the food finally arrived it was tepid at best. It would have been great if it had been hot, but we were too tired and hungry to wait even longer.
Pros: Always delivers a clean spacious room. Good good and a great location for our onward journey.
Pros: Nice if you have children - a lot of entertainment is available like table tennis, pool, PS, etc. Close to highway but very quite! Car is needed for trips to Lyon centre.
Pros: Beds very comfortable, clean and tidy room, upgraded to the recently refurbished room, was worth it.
Cons: Rooms were as far as you could be from reception, the air con did not work in the 3 rooms we booked, queried this, staff were not very bothered and gave us a bottle of water!! Bar area shuts so early especially if you arrive late!!
Cons: lack of waiter in the restaurant , always waiting to seat, to order, for bread and finally for paying !
Pros: Hotel is clean and good location.
Cons: The room was too close to the lobby and therefore a bit noisy. Breakfast as very disappointing: dirty, several issues missing, staff not available.

Pros: Breakfast is OK The Ibis evening buffet /food is very good and various. Marius
Cons: Hotel - Some nights of the week are charges priced , over 105 euros/night and others are only 70 euros . Very high difference on price.
Pros: It is what it is. Nice easy going suites the job that was needed
Cons: Hat to look at bill closely put me down for 22 breakfast but there were only 2 of use there for 6 mornings. So needed to be reduced. You try save the towels they replace them anyway so no poit. Buffet in evening left a bit to be desired.
Pros: Hotel staff is very welcoming and helpful
Pros: The breakfast was great with lots of options; everything was very fresh and the staff was very friendly. The restaurant was closed in the evening on the week-end, but the staff was able to offer a menu with a choice of 2 starters, 2 main courses and 3 desserts. They were very helpful.
Cons: The only problem we had was that the lights in the hotel corridors were on all night and shone inside our room, making it difficult to sleep for 2 of the 3 occupants.
Pros: Safe car park
Cons: Was not clean and air con did not work.

Cons: Shower sistem could be better.

Audrey Boni and her team are highly skilled in making guests feel welcome, ensuring that holidaymakers and business travellers alike have a comfortable stay. This three-star hotel has varied rooms, a bar, dining area, terrace, and private car park.
Pros: friendly staff.
Cons: Not clean, hotel got a refresh but bad quality, looks nice on the pictures but then when you´re there it´s disapointing. very small Breakfast room.
Cons: The food for dinner wasn't good but the service perfect
Pros: Budget hotel with correct price/quality. It was clean and during the night it was quiet. Two minutes walk from tramway to Lyon city center (25 mins ride).
Cons: Outside of the building could use a renovation or upgrade but it did not really affect our stay.
Pros: - convenient access to Eurexpo and to the city centre - access to daily shopping - friendly staff - good shower facility
Cons: - no ramp to the reception, no elevator to the rooms - printing charge too expensive for 21st century - system remains quite manual - a very basic hotel - no coffee or kettle in the room - door closes too slowly takes too much time
Pros: - clean room - jug kettle and hairdryer on the room - private parking place
Cons: - check in at 4 p.m. is too late :-(
Pros: - minimalist room but kept tidy - good working shower - friendly and flexible staff - good access to Eurexpo and trams
Cons: - many stairs to access the reception and no elevator - attention to travelers with lots of baggage - printing charge of 1€ per a sheet of paper is exaggerated for the 21st century - old-fashioned manual management fof reservations which can get messy - while it’s convenient for Eurexpo the surrounding area is not charming - it would have been good to have a coffee machine or kettle in the room - room doors close very slowly it can be frustrating
Pros: - There is room to park the car inside the property. There is no gate, but you do not need to look for a parking spot - Very responsive on email - Pretty decent small breakfast. Mini croissants, mini pains au chocolat, good (small bread), some sausage and cheese. yogurt, decent coffee - Good size room
Cons: - Property can use an update - Thick pillows - Very few plugs in the room for this day and age - Light in the room was quite dim even with every lamp on - No gel or shampoo - Small Tv - There was a boiler in the room, but no coffee and a single bag of tea...
Pros: It was what we were looking for in the location we wanted for the FIFA Women’s World Cup
Cons: Towels are worn.
Pros: The shower room was great. Nicely decorated and the shower was very powerful. Literally all that was good about this hotel.
Cons: The room it’s self was fine, bed, TV, shower room. Everything you need for a nights stay. The rooms carpet needed hoovered. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, so much so that we ended up sleeping at the foot of the bed!! The hotel isn’t in the best location, there is a tram stop but nothing in terms of walking distance. We went for a walk and there was a tent set up at the side of a bridge, which was off putting. Not exactly what you want to see in the surrounding areas of your hotel. The room walls are paper thin, you can hear the people staying next to you. 1 staff member was friendly....the other wasn’t. We asked the friendly staff member to book us a taxi for an early flight...she booked it but it wasn’t a taxi. It was a personal, private driver that charged us an unreasonable amount to take us to the airport - judging this by the fact that we got a taxi to the hotel which was cheaper and we gave them a tip!! Overall if you are just needing a hotel for the night, I’d recommend booking the hotel at Lyon airport. If you’re booking this hotel thinking you’re saving money; you’re wrong. If you’re booking this hotel thinking it’s only 1 night, just need a comfortable bed; you’re wrong. If all you’re interested in is a great shower; book the hotel!
Pros: In case of urgency OK! Good bed, quiet to sleep.
Cons: Anything, dirty, badly organized with key. Key distributor broken. Tiny room. Awful
Pros: Quite , easy to acces and secure
With a stay at Hôtel Bron Lyon Eurexpo in Bron (Porte Des Alpes - Mi Plaine - Manissieux), you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Eurexpo Lyon and Stade Gerland. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a computer station, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: It was near by the airport of Lyon Bron. A 20 minutes walk by feet. The hotel was a good price relation.
Cons: At the hotel entrance outside in big letters "HOTEL & RESTAURANTE" The Menue card shows only pizza.
Pros: Nice and clean, close to the airport
Cons: They could improve the breakfast to add some real food.
Pros: The location is fine. Rooms looks new and clean.
Cons: Narrow bathroom. Rooms are not well isolated from corridor noise. It would be appreciated to check products in the bathroom like toilet paper. The way shower soap and shampoo is offered can be improved (so little). Also the plastic cups offered for coffee are not convinient because it deteriorates with warm water
Pros: This was a Kyriad hotel which seems to have changed ownership. It appears to be recently refurbished as everything is in good condition. There are approximately 40 rooms. The rooms are fairly small, some have 3 beds which doesn't leave much space. There are tea/ coffee making facilities in the room. The bathtub is small so don't expect to soak in the bath unless you are shorter than 4'/120cm. Nevertheless the room is comfortable. There are enough EU style electrical outlets for your laptop, cellphone charger etc. The workspace is compact but usable. I have 2 laptops and there was enough space. They offer breakfast for 9€ for which you get a choice of cereal and milk, cold boiled eggs, cheese, yogurt, and cold meats and bread. Nothing exciting and I suggest that they offer omelettes or fried eggs, then more people would take the breakfast. I also suggest that they make an outdoor area for the summer. There is a restaurant during the day and a bar service in the evening. The location is great, especially for plane spotters. It is a quiet area next to a general aviation airfield, not far from shopping and there are a few fast food outlets in walking distance.
Cons: The breakfast could be improved.
Pros: very close to the airport 24 hour reception
With a stay at Hotel Campanile Lyon Est - Bron Eurexpo, you'll be centrally located in Bron, within a 15-minute drive of Eurexpo Lyon and Stade Gerland. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Cons: WE WERE ON TOP FLOOR ACCESSIBLE VIA EXTERNAL SPIRAL STAIRCASE ONLY. BIT OF A STRUGGLE WITH ANY LUGGAGE. COULD DO WITH A LIFT.
Pros: Location was good for the one night stay, easy access to main roads and not in central city. Parking on site as sufficient and there is night time security fencing / gates. . Food at breakfast was good, plentiful and varied . F.Y.I. I stayed there three years ago during my last visit and was happy to choose it again.
Cons: I was happy with the accommodation
Pros: Hair dryer Good large shower Kettle in room
Cons: Breakfast: we went for breakfast at 9am Croissants were all gone and there was little milk left, otherwise the breakfast was ok. More fruit was put out for us and the staff were very friendly.
Pros: Near OL stadium. Some nearby places to eat. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable beds.
Cons: Somewhat industrial area but location was good for what we needed.
Pros: Everything was ok, clean room, parking safe and close to the apartment, staff was nice and kind
Pros: Very clean nice staff
Cons: It was really hard for us to find the hotel entry because we arrived there late at night and the gate was closed. Also there was no elevator so we had to carry our huge carrier up and down.

Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: For business, simple room, good location for where I was required to be.
Pros: The room and the hotel in general are pretty basic, but all essential things are there, bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean and equipment was good. But the most I was impressed with food at buffet dinner. One wouldn't expect delicious dishes and large choice of deserts, and all for only 19.5 eur! Maybe, it's just France :)
Pros: All very kind
Cons: No one speaks english
Pros: The hotel was clean, comfortable bed, air-conditioning (Best!!), Secure parking space! Soundproof room also. I think the building by itself is fairly new. Definitely would come back again!
Cons: Middle of nowhere pretty much.
Pros: Our stay
Cons: Small but clean and nice little restaurant attached
Pros: Hotel correct
Cons: Insonorisation perfectible
Cons: They have charged my credit card twice for the same period We had early check out. The hotel had locked the outer gate and we could not get out. No info was given. We had to wait for an employee to come to work to open the door. Nearly missed the flight
Cons: The room was very smelly and the bed was not comfortable
With a stay at Hôtel le Lyon Bron in Bron, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Musee Lumiere and Stade Gerland. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby and a 24-hour front desk. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: the location
Cons: it was too hot.. without aircontition.. the breakfast were cost 8 euros per person
Pros: supercool breakfast with home-made hot chocolate! friendly professional staff at reception (this man is real asset for this hotel), proximity of public transportation (metro 8mins walk, tram 1min walk)
Cons: old rooms with small bathroom (tall man would have issues)
Pros: Excellent choice at breakfast. Receptionist very helpful in sharing his own touristy experiences in the area
Cons: Hotel was difficult to find.
Cons: it was smelly and in the room smelled tobacco.
Pros: The location is okay, about 5-7 minutes to the metro station, which allows you get to the city centre within 15 minutes. There's parking on the premises, which is really valuable. Monsieur who welcomed us at the reception was very friendly and helpful. The room is freshly renovated, with an impeccably clean bathroom and a big comfortable bed.
Cons: The room itself is really small, there's hardly room to open a suitcase. It was also very hot, but we opened the window, so this problem can be solved.
With a stay at Lyon Faubourg in Saint-Priest (Porte Des Alpes - Mi Plaine - Manissieux), you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Musee Lumiere and Stade Gerland. Featured amenities include multilingual staff, coffee/tea in a common area, and microwave in a common area. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Pascal and Nathalie are so lovely and welcoming and generously made accomodations for me to stay in their home when I arrived on short notice. Between their hospitality and the beautiful building and facilities, it was hard to leave Lyon Faubourg!
Cons: Lyon Faubourg is a 40 minute tram or 20-25 minute drive from the centre of Lyon, which can be tricky to manoeuvre on short notice and I recommend planning for in advance. Pascal and Nathalie are again incredibly helpful in showing you the easiest way to travel there however, and can also provide great recommendations for things to do in Lyon.
Pros: Very nice rooms, the breakfast was marvellous. Very close you can find a little place where you feel like being in a small village. There you have a nice Brasserie and a good pizzeria. I would go back there if the occasion occurs
Pros: Excellent, charming guest house, very well located near airport and Lyon.
Pros: The pool and outdoor spaces are fabulous. The host Pascal is friendly and makes sure every need is met. Love the artistic and eclectic decoration style.
Cons: We were there in a heat wave and it was hot in the apartment. Fans were provided but they were not that strong. Probably only a few weeks a year that this would be an issue but otherwise a great stay.
Pros: Great and welcoming hosts, Nathalie and Pascal make this place unique from an hospitality point of view. The room is very nice and facilities are good. Definitely a place we will visit again.
Pros: Super nice staff. And the area is very convenient. A castle is just across the street, local butcheries/pastries, pizza restaurants whithin 5 min walk..
