The staff relationship which made me to feel at home.
The coffee and bed
We said if there isn't a lift we will need a ground floor room. They put us on the first floor bathroom next door, no towels had to use baby wipes to wash next day moved to ground floor but still had to go down into the underground room for breakfast which apart from being given plastic plate and glass a piece of kitchen paper towel instead of serviette. The food we were given was up to four days old with the date on the packed. We were then give two towels and two small guest hand towels to last the whole week which we had to use as bath mats. The room was never cleaned or bed made the whole time we were there. My husband had to borrow a wheel chair because all the stairs made his legs very bad. There wasn't any garden furniture or balcony chairs so was unable to sit out side the garden was a tip and a complete disgrace. There was no swimming pool. It was so bad that you had to laugh because you wouldn't believe how bad it really was. We have taken photos of garden and holes in towels. I think you should take this property off your books as it gives a very poor view and lies. Will send photos separately as I don't know how to include them to this e mail.
The staff were friendly and the coffee was nice.
The decoration was dated. The property had repair issues. The breakfast was frugal and odd. The swimming pool picture was misleading as there was no pool. The sheets and covers had seen better days.
The staff do not speak any English at all. We were locked out of the accom for hours until she finally arrived to check us in. Then, the key did not work. The Wi-Fi was terrible. It was impossible to get anywhere or do anything unless you spoke Italian.
They lady was nice but no English at all. Luckily a couple staying there could help us as also the phone to call her for help did not work.
It was close to Fiumicino Airport. The rooms were air-conditioned.
When we took the covers of the bed we discovered that the linens were stained. And since the host left for the night we had no way of getting them changed.
