The room was bigger than expected and the view of Bristol was amazing. The decor is elegant but comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and the staff went out of their way to make the bedding hypoallergenic for us.
It didn’t bother me at all, but it might bother others that in room 5 you can hear the floorboards of the room above you. It’s not loud, but it is noticeable.
Location was good, 5 mins walk from bars and eateries.
One half of the bed was lumpy,
Loved the spacious bathroom and bath in front of the window ( room 3). Hospitality tray well stocked, and the Harrogate water and cut glass tumbler was very luxurious. Able to arrive early and leave our luggage and get our key, then check in properly after 3pm. Classic FM tinkling quietly away in the corner of the room from a Roberts dab radio just adds to the sense of quality.
Since last year, the hotel is charging £5 extra for a cooked breakfast. I feel this is a bit over the top considering the room rates are quite high. £5 isn't a lot, admittedly, but it's the principle.....
an apartment with fashionable and elegant furnishing
The whole property felt clean and comfortable. There were communal lounge areas and a brilliant breakfast service. The room itself was also large and comfortable too.
