Liked the staff on reception and at breakfast. The room was comfortable and had Molten Brown toiletries. Plenty of places to sit downstairs and read with a drink from the bar. Breakfast was good. Parking was easy for town centre, although very tight if you have a big car! Location is awesome.
The food trays of the previous guests of our room, and all along the corridor, were still outside the doors when we arrived! This was handled immediately but there is no way food trays should still be there at 4pm - this was horrid.
I was at a cinference at the Internatinal centre a five minute walk away. Hotel is in the centre of town in a quiet location
The breakfast was substantial and the staff very helpful. The room was clean and quiet. The hot water was hot. The hotel seemed to be full of Liberal Democrats.
The lift is the slowest and most idiosyncratic that I have ever encountered. It goes where it wants regardless of which buttons you press. The keys to the rooms don't work very well. Decoration needed.
Big comfortable rooms. Nice breakfast.
Lift very very slow. Key card would not work.
24hr concierge access, but this should be a given, its very central.
I booked & paid for a PREMIERE DELUXE KING ROOM, made a special request for a double walk in shower, was only given a single shower, the bed was made up of two single mattresses so had to stay on one side of the Bed no sprawl which is what I like a luxury room for, no luxury there I wasn't impressed if they hadn't a proper king room they didn't inform me, no Bathrobes, and the Buffett breakfast was lacking/disappointing after adding it to my stay, went into Bournemouth and got a lot better from a cafe for less,
Timeless luxury on the south coast. A former summer home of the Duke of Norfolk, the Norfolk Royale Hotel, BW Signature Collection is a well-heeled 4 Star Edwardian hotel right in the center of Bournemouth. It is only a short stroll from the resort’s major attractions, including its award-winning gardens and Blue Flag Beaches. You will never be short of things to do in Bournemouth, but if you do want to venture further afield, there is the New Forest and the world-famous Jurassic Coast to explore. A stay with us means you can relax in elegant surroundings, and we have an impressive array of facilities to enjoy. Our 95 spacious bedrooms include deluxe rooms, suites and family rooms with bunk beds. All come with Molton Brown® toiletries, free Wi-Fi and satellite television with in-house movies. We have a glass-roofed heated indoor pool and sauna where you can steam your troubles away, and in summer why not make the most of the good weather with al fresco dining on the Veranda?
