Breakfast was very good as always. I especially enjoyed the Birchermüsli breakfast cereal. Always a wide choice of foods! You can’t beat the central location and the access to local transportation. I also think having newspapers available at breakfast is very nice. Commendations to the service personnel in the breakfast dining area - all very polite and dedicated to good service. I think the room card requirement to use the elevators is a good security idea.
The water in the toilet flushing system sometimes continued to run after flushing.

Everything about this hotel is great, even the one thing that was troubling on my previous visit, one year ago: the servicing of the room. This time, the room was serviced after each of the six nights of my stay. No more piling up of trash and old towels...this time, perfect!
Hard to find any negatives. OK - compared to one year ago, the lovely indoor swimming pool was not always available, as they now hold water aerobics classes in the pool at certain times, usually in the late-afternoon when I'd like to use it. I'm also sorry that the old pastel-colored calming lights (that changed color every minute or so) have been replaced with a full-blast of bright light, even when classes are not being held. Shame.

Elegant hotel. Perfectly situated in 'Mitte'. It has a smell of grandeur. However the forniture in the rooms s a bit outdated. Perfect bed. Bathroom is a bit 'simple'. Nice wellness/fitness area. Easy to reach by metro
